Project Description
The Global Financing Facility in support of Every Woman, Every Child (GFF) is a financing mechanism that aims to support country efforts to end preventable maternal, newborn, child and adolescent deaths and improve the health and quality of life of women, adolescents and children. The World Bank (WB) hosts the GFF Secretariat and the GFF Trust Fund. The GFF mechanism is an opportunity to fill funding gaps, particularly in its 36 target countries, including Burkina Faso.
This study aims to assess the process of developing and implementing GFF mechanism documents, including the Investment Document (ID) and Project Appraisal Documents (PAD) in Burkina Faso. It will focus on identifying and understanding the factors that influenced the content of these documents and facilitated or hindered their implementation, taking into account the stakeholders involved, the governance structures, the formal and informal processes, and the context.
