Project Description
This study was conducted with the support of the CHAI NGO. This study aims to assess the health financing and public financial management functions, skills and expertise in health financing, career development and training in health financing, and academic needs, with a focus on gender. The study focused on: i) describing health financing capacity and gender issues within government institutions; ii) describing health financing capacity and gender issues within academic institutions; iii) analyzing the interaction between government and academic institutions; and iv) analyzing the influence of development partners on health financing capacity, research agendas, and gender issues in government and academic institutions.
