Evaluation of the ” Village sans paludisme ” project in the Dangouna Primary Health Facility, Dédougou Health District, Burkina Faso.

Project Description

This study is conducted in collaboration with the National Malaria Control Program (PNLP). The “malaria-free village” project was initiated by the PNLP with financial support from the Endeavour Mining Foundation. It aims at eliminating malaria in the health area of the CSPS of Dangouna, by concentrating all the efforts to fight against this disease. The project’s objective is to reduce the incidence of malaria by 90% compared to previous years and to achieve a 0% incidence of malaria in its coverage area.

RESADE has been selected to capitalize on the implementation of the ” village sans paludisme ” project and to measure its effects on the incidence and lethality of malaria under real conditions of implementation.
