This participation was an opportunity to share some preliminary results of the evaluation of the Ecosyst\u00e8me Digital Minimal (EDM) project, implemented by the Burkina Faso Ministry of Health since 2023.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RESADE gave two oral presentations at the conference:  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first focused on <\/span><b><i>&#8221; <\/i><\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/afhea.confex.com\/afhea\/2025\/meetingapp.cgi\/Paper\/2733\"><b><i>factors associated with the use of digital tools by healthcare professionals: the case of Burkina Faso&#8217;s Ecosyst\u00e8me Digital Minimal (EDM)<\/i><\/b><\/a><b><i> &#8220;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This presentation, given by Relwend\u00e9 Nacanabo, Economist and Associate Researcher at RESADE, highlighted factors associated with the use of digital tools by healthcare professionals, such as gender, professional experience, Internet access and level of education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second presentation, by Dr Jo\u00ebl Arthur Kiendrebeogo, medical health economist and Principal Investigator of the study, analyzed <\/span><b><i>&#8220;the preliminary results of the evaluation of the implementation of the Ecosyst\u00e8me Digital Minimal (EDM) project, in particular the perception of users of digital tools<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><b><i>&#8220;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The results of the analysis showed contrasting perceptions in the use of EDM tools, highlighting the need for continuous improvement mechanisms to facilitate its adoption and maximize its benefits for the healthcare system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the discussions, RESADE emphasized the importance of integrating digital technologies to strengthen healthcare systems, while stressing the need to support stakeholders in adopting the tools and ensuring the sustainability of this initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This participation shows that RESADE plays a key role in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector in French-speaking Africa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From March 10 to 14, 2025, RESADE took part in the 7th Scientific Conference of the African Health Economics and Policy Association (AfHEA) in Kigali, Rwanda.
