The goal of the project is to work with sub-regional organizations and multi-stakeholder actors at the national level to share knowledge, strengthen accountability and promote health financing policies and processes that advance universal health coverage (UHC) in sub-Saharan Africa. The ACS project provides support to national and regional stakeholders so that they can better navigate their own path towards UHC. ACS aims to avoid redundancies and find synergies with existing initiatives on UHC and health financing. RESADE is one of the partners in the ACS project. RESADE supported the initial work of ACS in Burkina Faso by supporting budgetary advocacy and the mobilization of civil society. RESADE has also been involved in the implementation of ACS activities since the beginning of the project.
