The analysis focuses on Ziniaré and Ténado, the implementation sites, and Manga and Sapouy, the control sites, and covers 696 users, including 362 women and 334 men. Since July 2023, the EDM has been integrated into the health sector with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and technical support from the Institute for Disease Modeling. Data were collected via questionnaires assessing socio-demographic characteristics, ease of use, satisfaction and attitudes towards the tools. The analysis was carried out globally on all tools, rather than on each tool separately. The results show no gender disparities in terms of ease of use, satisfaction and positive attitudes towards the tools. Over 80% of users found the tools uncomplicated to use, over 90% said they were satisfied or very satisfied, and over 95% reported a positive attitude towards the tools. Demographic distribution shows a predominance of men in the 41-55 age bracket, and of women between 31 and 40. In terms of education, men are more numerous at primary level, while women are more numerous at secondary level, with similar numbers at secondary and tertiary levels. These results suggest that EDM can improve the efficiency of primary care without generating new gender inequalities. Further analysis is recommended to confirm these trends.

Preliminary: 696 EDM users in Burkina Faso show similar use and satisfaction between men and women, with no gender disparities.
"_seopress_social_twitter_img_attachment_id":0
[234,255,233,248,258,254,232
228
223
251
post-5808","publication","type-publication","status-publish","auteur-david-zombre","auteur-habibou-noellie-konsebo","auteur-issa-kabore","auteur-orokia-marthe-sory","auteur-rafiatou-tene-daliah-marie-nacoulma","auteur-relwende-nacanabo","auteur-yamba-kafando","langue-english","thematique-digital-health","type-de-publication-scientific-documents
["GET
