This study aims to analyze the contribution of local authorities to the financing of primary health care (PHC) in the Centre-East, Centre-West and South-West regions. It will help to better understand how PHC is financed through local authorities, and this understanding will help to identify the strengths and weaknesses of this financing, and the areas where the Burkinabe state could place greater emphasis, or where technical assistance could be provided by development partners to strengthen this financing.
