From April 28 to May 2, RESADE organized a training session for interviewers for the fourth Ecosystème Digital minimal (EDM) survey.
This training aims to equip interviewers with the necessary data collection skills to evaluate the implementation and effects of the EDM.
This study aims to assess the implementation, institutionalization and contextual factors influencing the adoption of the MDE. The training adopted the following methodology:
- an introduction to the study and its objectives
- study methodology
- presentation of informed consent
- procedures and techniques for efficient data collection
- data collection with ODK Collect
- presentation of questionnaires
- translation of questionnaires into local languages
- a pre-test of the questionnaires
The training was designed to be practical, with role-playing simulating real-life situations faced by surveyors in the field. This capacity building will enable the different teams to collect good quality data that will be used to make informed decisions about digital health in Burkina Faso.
